Using Cadence TDO, both BOM and ECAD objects get uploaded, but there is no direct linkage between the Schematic Part and Schematic viewables.  Same for Board part.  Navigation is too complex for end users to find the required objects (schematic diagram, layout, manufacturing files...). 

A direct link should be able to be configured from the Part to ECAD viewables/files.  Now this requires a manual process / administrator.
