Need for Delete workspaces utility com.ptc.cust.wsdelete.DeleteWorkspaces in Windchill 10.2 version to automate the user deactivation process

As per PTC article CS40939 the DeleteWorkspaces utility which helps to delete workspaces of user is available only in Windchill 9.1 or earlier. This utility supports comma separated list of users whose workspaces need to be deleted. Whenever a user is disabled or leaves organization we need to cleanup such accounts in Windchill. This utility would help to automate the user cleanup process for offboarding users. Currently this is manual and very tedious process when we have to delete the workspaces of bulk users. This deleteworkspaces utility would really help in reducing a lot of manual activity and also reduce human error.

As an admin you can search and delete workspaces for a user from your homepage

It is rather uncommon that you have to delete so many users workspace at one shot

The tool is helpful when we have bulk disabled email-id accounts/users who have left the organization to be cleaned up in Windchill. It is not feasible to manually search for every user's workspace and perform deletion. We can reduce lot of manual efforts by help of this tool.

Not sure if this utility gets around this problem, but you cannot administratively delete a workspace if they have new objects in the workspace.

There are work arounds of course, but the ability to delete a bunch of workspaces at once could be helpful. Through this, or some other method.

We're going through a cleanup effort right now of cleaning up workspaces that have been open for YEARS. We've been through 3 major releases of Windchill and they still have same workspaces. We have others who have up to 45 workspaces. Typically they're not actively using these workspaces, they created it 3 years ago and haven't worked in it since.
