There are Business cases where the Part Name is driven from Classification attributes through autonaming rules.

 

This feature is only available on Single Part creation and should be extended to Create Multiple Parts and the Import from Spreadsheet functionality.

Fully agree, the naming field needs some sort of bulk control and should be similar to other fields
