We are in the process of updating our ECAD classification schema through counterPart. Our old classification schema heirarchy needs to remain so that we can retain older classsification attributes for existing part revisions. We do NOT want any users to be able to create new parts or new revisions of existing parts using the old classification schema. We have not found any way to configure Windchill to "hide" a top level node during the classification picker of the create part flow. We need this ability because we do not want to delete the schema, but we do want to hide it on new part creation.
Please let us know if this can be done in the current Windchill versino and if not, please add this functionality ASAP.
