Enable the "New multiple parts" function from workspace menu. I think is a good tool and now it is only in Windchill commonspace.

Initially a Windchill Discussion started by @jdelgado in July of 2016.

I have users requesting this functionality for the sake of consistency as well as efficiency.

I voted for this idea, but actually I would rather see a rewritten action "Associate parts and documents automatically". I would like to see the combination between the multiple parts and auto associate action.

It doesn't make sense for the user and the process to create WTParts without having the required attributes filled in.

Right now, the user has to auto-associate the WTParts and then edit each individual part instead of doing it in a single view. The challenge is that multiple WTParts subtypes can be created at the same time and they can have different attributes

So far, it looks like the interest in this capability is relatively light.

One thing I want to emphasize is the significance of consistency and its contribution to efficiency. We have teams working on customer modifications that have very short design/build times. Enabling these engineers to stay in the context of their workspace increases ease-of use and lost time hunting for tools.
