New access rule of rename permision for all states of object in Windchill

Windchill user needs the modify permision to rename object in Windchill across all states.

If the wtobject is forward to released state where the object shouldn't be modified the user can't rename it even a new revision is made because the modify permisiion is not allowd in release state..

In some cases the rename operation is required and only admin or Produkt/Library manager can change the name.

The Idea is to create new permision for rename operation across all states to change NAME.

Customer needs is to rename MPMLInk operations during a change process.

This can already be done with proper application of the Policy Administration function. The user in question simply needs to be granted the permission to do this.

Be aware also that in case Windchill is connected in some way to an ERP system, renumbering is equal to have a different object.

The point is to change just name. The name is not idetification for ERP. Also you are focused to WtPart.

The point is that in MPMLink the operations could be renamed every releasse but the user couldn't rename the operations if they don't have permision modify in release state.

There is a point that for changing the NAME you need MODIFY permision in all states of object. 

In policy administration is just change identity whichs allows you to change only the NUMBER.

In Released state user can't do any modification and that's correct but to change the NAME needs this permission which is against the principle to deny modification in Released state.

I'm talking about changing the name not number.

Please do not mix the renumbering and renaming.

Rename = Change the Name

Renumber = Change the Number

For ERP system is important the Number.
