In Custom jsp pages, If user want to use the Object Search Functionality process then it would be great if PTC added this functionality related API's as Supported.

Agree. Every project I work on requires this capability.
The search result has been around since years, but unfortunately only in the actions and not search or even global search.
For a customer project we would exactly need that functionality in the "Create wtPart" window to search the "Name" from a huge drop-down list.
