Cannot see or download or open Creo files directly into SolidWorks on a session that is connected to Windchill.
We have lot of Creo library files that we need to re-use in SolidWorks.
Opening a Creo file in SolidWorks is NOT a PTC problem. It is a SolidWorks issue that you need to address with your VAR or Dassault.
The file being stored in Windchill or native has no bearing on the ability for SolidWorks to open a Creo file.
Have you checked for file version compatibility?
What version of Creo are your files saved in?
What version of SolidWorks are you trying to open the Creo files in?
The file can be opened in SolidWorks from the local drive but not the from the Workspace or session linked to Windchill. Check this 2 articles(CS248536 and CS338727).
Creo 7.0.4.0 and SolidWorks 2021, which are compatible.
