Option to allow automatic share of WTparts when CAD Documents are shared to a project on the fly

Option to allow automatic share of WTparts when CAD Documents are shared to a project on the fly

When a CAD user creates an automatic share from a library by accessing the library part from Creo (browse, insert), only the CAD document is shared.  Once this is done, the CAD user has to go to each individual file they added to their model and find the WTpart in Windchill, and share just the WTpart.  If they don't, they cannot check in the part to Widnchill, because Windchill cannot build the product (wtpart) structure.  This limits the use of product structures in a project context.

What I am suggesting is a Windchill preference that allows windchill to automatically share the associated wtpart of the CAD model added on the the fly (either add to workspace, or open in a project workspace).

This is a very important fix for us.  It either requires designers to only add library or product items manually while gathering the wtparts, or to disable wtparts in a project, reducing functionality.

Manually adding the WTParts for family table items is a big problem for users. Especially when the part model is a Library hardware item.

Please fix this! I do my best to avoid using Projects because of this hassle.

Does PTC even look at this?  the PTC Community page seems to be a black hole of suggestions / questions that most segment managers ignore!

Pretty worthless
