PSI should be validating all the input parameters including passwords.

the problem we have seen is related with WC install with PDMLink. 

we were facing issue when LDAP password we provided contains characters which was not acceptable by ldap later on. 

I have generated password through password generator and put this into PSI and not received any error message. during WC Ds installation it was throwing an error and only after working with support, spending hours we understood that this is due to characters in password. 

it will be very valuable if PSI actually validates all the inputs.

Another use case for this functionality, was that windchill password specified during installation has been accepted and WC worked fine, but when we have tried to install flexplm over it was failing with very strange error, and it took weeks to understand that the reason was in admin password inserted in PSI.
