During the installation and upgrade, there are a few places where a password is requested only once. One such example is the request for the ldap password under the additional adapters tab of the upgrade manager. If there could be an option to either unmask the password or a second prompt to validate the password, that would insure the password was entered correctly. In a number of other areas, this has been implemented already.
This would prevent down stream errors during installation or upgrade.
