In Windchill 10.2 M030, you can add the Attachments column to the Search Results table to identify which items have attachments, but it does not give you direct access to the Attachments without clicking each paper clip icon. It is tedious to get them all, but this does give you a potential work-around to not showing them at all.
The icon tells you it exists, not sure if it full satisfies what Marco is asking for.
Marco Tosin can you comment on whether the link Ben show's above, plus that you can search (Index Search) the secondary content that we can close this?
Based upon the availability to Attachment exists icon and the ability to include Secondary content in Index search I am going to close this as Current functionality.
We have slightly different issue here. Our customer wants to see the attachments in the folder browser. We modified the view to include the "Attachments" attribute.
After which we are able to see the attachments icon in the folder view. However, this icon is displayed for documents having NO Attachments as well.
Has anyone faced such issue. Is it a product bug or any issue in our server config.
