Pre-Populate File extensions while locking the package in Windchill

Pre-Populate File extensions while locking the package in Windchill

Hello Experts

We have a business case where in customer would like to pre-populate the file extensions that they want to include/exclude in zip file during the package lock step. Currently, OOTB provides a list of all extensions that user can add/remove from the list and only keep the one that is required in zip.

Can we define a template kind of thing where in file extensions are auto populated based on package type so that user does not have to manually manage it every time they lock a new package. See the attached picture for more information.

Please advise if this can be done with any configurations.

Regards

It would be nice if the filter criterias for configured package types would be enhanced. Object subtype filter is not sufficient.

In addition the filter criterias should support IBAs for object filtering and pre-defined file extensions for include/exclude together with a LOCK Switch to enforce this if required

This one's been around a while. Wondering if anybody has done any more work on this?

I can't even manage to get the published STEP file attached to the zip file.
