Currently any user with WTPart modify permission can crash the whole PLM server by inducing an out of memory condition by entering e.g. 999999 as Amount  (Unit "each") on a Part Usage link and then click on the Visualization tab of PSE . 

Idea is to provide a preference which limits the max value for  Amount. This limit should also cover XLS BOM Import which is one source of wrong usage counts.
