When routing a document in ProjectLink, routing participants have the ability to add comments to some types of routings. (Review and Approval routings.)
When a routing participant leaves a long, detailed comment it is VERY HARD to read the entire comment. The mouse must hover over the comment for it to appear in a pop up box. The box then disappears after a set amount of time, and the process must be repeated until the entire comment is read. Or a screen shot must be taken as a work around.
Instead, if routing comments were automatically created as discussion topics, they would be read and replied to much more easily.
Update: on July 21, 2015:
One partial solution for this is to activate wrapping for the column, which improves readability immensely. HOWEVER, I still think that the commenting and discussion functionality are so closely related, that it makes sense to have them behave the same.
