Provide Docker Images for App Systems or Simple Monolithic Systems

Docker Containers are gaining popularity and are proving to be more efficient than traditional virtualization.  I would like to see a set of Docker Images provided by PTC that would allow its customers to explore this technology for their own environments.

It would make it much easier to have a docker image for Windchill like as Thingworx has.

Even from a developmental point of view, sometimes it's beneficial to spin up a development instance of Windchill to test something out. If my view on Docker is correct it would make this a bit easier to set up and remove if you don't have the capability with virtual machines.

If Thingworx has this, and Windchill does not, it makes me wonder about the future of the Windchill product. Could make me less likely to recommend Windchill. May explain why the Windchill ecosystem seems to be slowing and shrinking along with the old way of building IT infrastructure and delivery.

Any progress on this?  I was just playing with the docker files for Thingworx and am pretty impressed.  Stood up a Thingworx instance pretty quickly after whack-a-mole'ing the download requirements.

We have a couple of test systems running with docker but the graphical installation is almost a deal breaker. It still very useful being able to have different systems running even locally without having to use VMs. Please PTC make the necessary steps to allow silent/unattended installation.
