When doing edit association it should be possible to remove newly added associations again.

It could be that these were set by user mistake or by underlying logic.

Today you first need to complete. Retrieve the Edit Association again and remove the undesired association again.

It looks like the reason is that it is not persisted yet and information is just in memory

In the screen above I have a new wtpart with two links and I want to remove the image link

Hello Olivier.

 

In Windchill 11.0 M010 you should be able to do this with some new controls in the Edit Associations and Auto-Associate UIs.
