Replace approver in promotion request

Hi

we have a problem when we send a Promotion Request to serveral approvers and one of them is ill or maybe on vacation and the item needs approval ASAP

i would like to have a funktionality that grant the maker (and admin) of the Promotion Request access to change approver

as it is today we have to delete the promotion request and make a new

On which PDMLink release are you working with ?

In my case(PDMLink 10.0), I have an appropriate workaround.

When a workflow task is assigned to someone who cannot terminated(whether he is ill or on vacation), I can connect as an administrator and use the 'Reassign task' capability.

this enables you to select another person who will receive the task.

As the action is performed by an adminsitrator you can ensure the fact the new assignee has a role coherent with the approval task.

This is supported multipe ways today including

1. Reassign the approver activity
2. Update the team (before the wf assignment kicks off)
3. Have the person set auto-delegation on their windchill calendar

i havent thought of the calender option, do you know if it can synchronize with other mail accounts?
