Resave Product as template

Problem/Limitation

• Save Product As Template is not possible if Template name already exist
  • ERROR: "The template was not created because of the following problem: There is already a Product Template with name of <TemplateName> and locale of ALL"
• Cannot Delete a template if this was used to create an existing Product
  • ERROR: "<TemplateName> Template is already in use by one or more containers, it cannot be deleted"
  • So the solution CS20918 will fail

The only workaround I know

1. Save Product Template as Template B
2. Download Template A and Template B
3. Delete Template B
4. Extract zip from Template A.zip and Template B.zip
1. Edit Template A.xml and paste Template B.xml content
2. Create new zip for Template
5. Edit Template A
   
   1. Upload new zip (should be same name)

• To be possible to Save a Product As Template and overwrite an existing Template
