Result table of a detailed Search should contain the criteria i searched for

Execute a detailed search with a criteria IBA called 'article number' = 12345. In the result table there is no such Column like 'Article Number'. Why not?

Every time you make a new search you have to look if there is an defined View, if you dont find one, you have to create it. At the moment you have to customize a view for every possible search or result to show the result in a way the user unterstand it. You can save time and administrative overhead to create Views!

Shure it would be nice to get the attributes you searched for in the result automaticly.

But the point of the matter is, rigth now you are not able to define a view with that attributes inside, whatever way you choose!

You are right, especially if you have this IBA on WTPart and EPMDoc, your List of Attributes within the view definition does not show theese Attributes...

Having the searched attributes automatically displayed when searching for it will be a huge benefit in productivity.

Today you almost have to create a new view each time you are doing a new "kind" of search and the views available in the list is increasing, becoming almost unusable.

This is something which PTC has on its roadmap and is being planned for upcoming release. Infact, it was included in the mock up evaluated in the UX lab. Users found lot of value when attribute searched on was multi value (with OR) or used wildcards.  When the attribute on which search was based had exact value, it served as validation of the search result.

That is correct. We have introduced the dynamic columns feature in 11.0, so the criteria selected on the search query builder will be displayed as a column on the search results table.

PS: This would be in addition to the already set table view columns.
