Lock is a very desire and capable functionality. however the usage of it is quite hard to use.

Today it is possible to apply lock only on entire Workspace either on the initially selected object.

 Would like to have the possibility to have "smart"/"Rule" base lock mechanism.

Couple of use cases might be:

- Automatically applying Lock on product you don't have write permission.

- Automatically applying Lock on Library items.

- Automatically applying Lock on Items which are in specific state (Release / Approve / Prototype etc ).
