SIM/SP - Add Service Effectivity needs to verify serial number/sales model link

When adding service effectivity SIM/SP 10.2 M022 allows authors to choose a sales model and apply any serial number even if they are not linked via where used. There needs to be a verification that a serial number can only be added to a sales model that it is linked to.  This is not validated in publish either.

Publishing does not enforce this kind of business rule. However, If this feature is a requirement, it should be considered for SIM/SP Managing  area ( and not publishing).

We are looking into adding Validation features across our SIM objects. Service Effectivity would be included in this functionality. There will be some level of customization expected to add each customers specific business logic to these validations. This functionality is still in very early analysis and has not been targeted for any release yet.
