Set Specification to Multiple Parts at a time

Business scenario-

While calculating verdict for a BOM few of the sub assembly could be kept as NOT TO BE CONSIDERED.

Now the user has to

1. go in each part details, set specification applicability one by one

2. calculate verdict for BOM

3. If need to change for other BOM

4. Again go back in each part details and change one by one

This is very time consuming in case of Moderate BOMs or Huge BOMs

Solution request-

If possible to have a new action button in search result table. So that user can select multiple parts and Set Specification Applicability.

Hi Debatra,

The action "Set Specification Applicability" is available from Company Part Search Results, so that a batch action can occur against multiple parts in a single action.

Please let me know if you are not seeing this, and I can assist further with determining if your exact installed version of WPA has this implemented.

Also, this button is permission controlled, so I can assist in ensuring that proper permissions have been set.

Under which patch/version it came in? Recently we did P03,04,07

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the update, it was to do with Role which we have not assigned, we did some permutation combination and found a list of roles.

So I observed out that ROLE_EC_PRODUCTCOMPLIANCE_MANAGER can view the same. Configuration XML has those entries, but do you have any document stating action of roles? Where can we find documentation for WPA? I have installation and configuration guide.
