Subscription

Today we can only subscribe to foler, part, document and cad document etc. You can only subcribe to single part, or do sophisticated search to subscribe to all the things you care about at once. It would be nice if there is a collector to find parts and documents and subcribe at once.

Also the EDIT subscription does not get you capabilty to edit the object you subscribed upon.

I have subscribed to a group of 95 cad objects and now want to add one more at a later date....this capability is not built into WC10 at build M030.  EDIT capabilities need improved as Preeti has noted.

FYI...I've generated a PTC support case to ask how a subscription can be modified to add new CAD objects after the subscription was created. 

My need for this functionality is based on the following task:  I have a project managing a 1000 cad assemblies for the vehicle with folders for each system...ie cab, engine, etc.  There are users in the company responsible for the parts.  I want to notify them when the upper level organization assemblies get changed.  If a new structure assembly gets added to WC, I want to be able to add the object to a current subscription. 

The benefits of this subscription is that the user can click on the link in the email and then quickly open the file in Creo View to see the information for review.

It would be wonderful if it were possible to add objects in a structure, so using the collector would be beneficial in that respect also.

I cannot subscribe to all dynamic documents within a book (Structure components of a .ditamap file) easily.
