Agreed, Oracle guarantee binary compatibility with RHEL and offer better support packages. Red hat’s recent change in stance regarding access to source code is also a major consideration.
Supporting Oracle Linux would fit in with many organisations’ OS strategy and provide a solution for development systems without exorbitant licensing costs.
