Support for PDM Essentials on Windows Server 2016

Although PDM Essentials may be installed on Windows Server 2016, the operating system is not officially supported by PTC. Windows Server 2016 should be supported. It is already supported in PDMLink and is a common operating system that was released almost 2 years ago.

  • Windchill PDM Essentials 11.1 F000 does not support Windows Server 2016
  • Support of Windows Server 2016 is planned for Windchill PDM Essentials 11.1 M020

PDMEssentials releases lag about a month behind PDMLink, so I'm guessing PDMEssentials 11.1 M020 will ship in January of 2019.
