Currently there are no plans to support Acrobat DC with Creo View.
When Acrobat DC is installed PDF files could not be opened with CreoView, see https://support.ptc.com/apps/case_logger_viewer/auth/ssl/case=12535314
Udo,
The case details are private to your company. No one else can see it.
The public article is here: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS207574
With no obvious way to download a previous version of Reader, I don't see how PTC will be able to avoid supporting this.
By the way, don't forget to vote up your own idea.
Until DC gets supported: here you'll find previous versions of the Adobe Reader:
Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows
The case mentioned by Tom Uminn states: The Adobe Acrobat DC client is supported at Creo View 3.1 F000
This version just got released today so I guess there is no point in voting for this idea any more
Could someone from PTC please mark the idea as "Implemented"?
I have changed the stage to 'Current Functionality' as Creo View 3.1 is now released and Acrobat DC is supported.

Where is the download for Creo View Client 3.1?
The download for Creo View Adapters 3.1 F000 has been available since Dec 3rd.
Randy, I have it in my account at: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/product.jsp?prodFamily=DVV
According to the calendar, both Creo View and the Creo View Adapters were released on December 3rd, but I don't see Creo View in my downloads either.
I can see both Creo View and Adapters downloads for 3.1 F000
Weird. I wonder if there is some type of tiered release process (and I'm at the bottom.)
Just out of curiosity, which section is this shown in for you? The only place I have the Creo View (client) listed is in the Windchill sections.
Could be that I access an EU Content Distribution Network server and the US one has not been updated properly...
No - wrong location, they have a different download location than Windchill
Ah, maybe that's why. I do have the Creo View Adapters section but not just Creo View. I don't actually own the paid version of Creo View (MCAD), we only use the "Lite" version that comes with Windchill. Interesting. Thanks!

Same for me. The Creo View client only shows in the Windchill sections and the latest showing in mine is 3.0 M031.
Yes - that would explain it, Creo View 3.1 comes with Windchill 11 and that is not out yet.
I have installed Creo View 3.1 F000 and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat DC. I am still getting the same error. Any help would be great!!!
