Would be nice to always have left panel navigator pinned

I'm curious what you use this for.  When PTC first introduced the pinned navigator, my response was "why would anyone ever want the navigator pinned open?".  I'd like to see it close automatically.

- open a browser with PDMLink 10

- pin the panel navigator

- close the browser

- reopen the browser PDMLink 10 and find that pinning is not permanent

We browse to the Products, Libraries, Organization ... all the time  and need to access the panel navigator.

simple need, very nice idea.

Could also maintain the navigator tab sizes that the users sets.

I agree, the navigator panel is even closed when you just open a new tab in the same browser session.

Regarding the justification for this request, we also very frequently have to navigate between different contexts, and even within the same context between folders, tasks ...

In addition wide screen format are common these days, so you can very easily afford to use 10 to 20 % of the left screen side dedicated to the navigator.

Exactly what Nicolas says:  Keep the navigator pinned across sessions.

The idea is not to always keep it pinned for everyone - only keep it pinned the next time you open Windchill if you had it pinned previously.

Perhaps in 10.3? I'll keep my fingers crossed.
