It would be nice if it was possible for a user/admin to temporarily reduce their effective permission level. The user can then work in a safer more restrictive enviornment until they need to reinstate their full permisssion level. This also provided an opportunity to understand other users capabilities.
This could be done by adding an option in the quick links menu. The user could be presented with a menu that would allow them to de-select permissions that they wish to not have at the time. When they are ready to have the permissions back, they could return to the menu and reselect the permissions. There could also be a button, to return all (globally) permissions back to default.
