Windchill allows the addition of attributes to PDMLinkProduct class.
BUT, these attributes cannot be used for display, sorting or filtering products in the product list.
Actually the "customize" option is not available in the Views List of this table.
The fact that the table cannot be customized, cancels most of the functionality that a user would require when creating an attribute and assign it to a type.
I work in a company, that there a 3 different R&D departments under one Windchill system.
The "parameterization" the Product type is required, and the table view should allow some filtering based on the attributes.
It is very strange that such a customization is available for the Project List table but not for the Product and Library Lists.
