The customer wants to be possible to remove the attribute value of EPMDocument in the workspace. CS22920 says "HTML UI Edit attribute action does not allow user to remove attribute. User can remove attribute value in CAD Application." But the user cannot remove attribute value in Creo Elements/Direct Drafting. The customer uses Creo Elements/Direct Drafting.

In several CAD Applications it is not possible to remove the value - in this case the attribute needs to be deleted from the file.

This can be automated by CAD makros on save - unfortunately this can not be implemented recursive since this would update all files.

Another related topic to this is to phase out obsolete or deprecated attributes. IBAs on CADDoc can be set to HIDDEN to avoid propagation to the CAD application - like non-filebased attributes. Unfortunately existing CAD Parameters does not get deleted or undesignated in the same shot. This would be a great enhancement that attributes which get set to HIDDEN on EPMUpload get automatically undesignated.

This should be also the behaviour if an attribute gets deleted from CADDoc definition to avoid error messages during check in which requires to undesignate or delete the attribute manually
