Today, when a translation package is created it will collect ALL dependents for the objects. This can be problematic as it collects the topics that were used in an XREF of older versions. That's right, it is looking back through the history of each topic and collecting any topics that were XREF'd. It is behaving like ALL dependents is the collection rule.
We would like a setting somewhere to control how files are collected for the translation package. This could be a system wide setting or a setting that can be set each time a package is created. This rule is present in other areas, such as SET STATE, so the underlying code is there. Just need to make this an option for SIM Translation Manager packages.
