When creating a downstream BOM in Windchill MPMLink the Part Usage Link information such as "Find Number" and "Reference Designator" is passed on to the new downstream BOM.
But if this information is change, for example the Find Number is updated in upstream BOM, then this information is not updated in the downstream BOM.
Today it is possible to define Part Master and Part Attributes that should be updated, This is done in the mpmlink.properties.xconf file.
The same possibility should be available for Part Usage Link attributes. Define what Link attributes that shuold be updated in the same file.
This would make it possible for the designers to add information in the eBOM as a Usage Link attribute, and this information is passed down to Manufacturing.
