I would like to be able to update a Product or Library template with a load file. This would save a tremendous amount of time when there are changes to roles, folder structure, acls over updating the templates manually.
In general, Product and Library templates should get a whole lot more attention. It is essential to understand what is in those that you have enabled and use. Each that is supplied OTB illustrates some good things, but generally is not suitable for a real business. A much larger selection of templates should be prepared (possibly by the user community) and fully documented.
Creation of each new context from an appropriate template can save hours of re-configuration afterward.
