Use Creo Illustrate model tree restructure capabilities to upload Manufacturing and service BOM to MPMLink

Creo Illustrate Is a really intuitive tool to restructure and add phantom or basket components to the model tree.

Enabling the associativity to this model tree in windchill (like creo parametric) and adding some functionalities and attributes (like manufacturing view or service view and make/buy attributes...) will reduce the time for different view creation.

The MPMlink interface is powerfull but 90% of that functionalities are not required in the first stages of the bom transformation.

This helps also to realign views after a change.

Some of the Creo view capabilities like (multiple views, open pdfs ecc...) could be usefull in the review process.

Agree - Maybe there could be a preference to determine the direction of the control behaviour...  Windchill drives Creo Illustrate through the Service BOM (SIM Functionality) or Creo Illustrate drives mBOM or sBOM as described above.
