This is the Product Ideas section of the website. Are you trying to file a product idea for the enhancement of Windchill? Or are you simply trying to look for a work-around to your problem?
The Guest role is a special role on the team. It generally doesn't have permission for much of anything. I suggest you put users in another role if you wish for them to create objects in Windchill.
If you still disagree, can you please provide reasons for why you want this functionality changed? Why do you see this as a problem?
Guest role used to be able to add to workspace in the past, then PTC changed the behavior by removing the button. However you can still do it from CAD strangely. So it would seem that removing the button really was the extent of the change.
It would actually suit us better if guest could add to workspace, but anyway if PTC feel this is not a good idea, then it should applied consistently at least.
