WTPart Structure Visualization to use Secondary Viewable when Appropriate to show Correct Creo View

WTPart Structure Visualization to use Secondary Viewable when Appropriate to show Correct Creo View

SOLUTION:
What PTC really needs is for WTPART Structure Visualization to show when Multiple CAD are linked to one Windchill Part is the Viewable of CAD Model that is the Child of the CAD Parent of the WtPart Parent in the Structure not the Viewable of the Owner Link.

The Issue.
Customer have used Assembly and Part Family Table instead of Flexible Features in Creo and have them linked to Same Windchill Model.  Or Customers that have Multiple CAD Models link to same Windchill Part.

Question: So how can we get Creo View Correct... Typically the answer is we can not. Is there a technique in Creo to close this PTC functional gap OOTB?

ISSUE Windchill: Creo View on Structure Tab will be Incorrect.
* Customer wants Only 1 Part number for Component in BOM/ERP/MRP - BOM will eventually go to ERP

A. If all the CAD Instances point to One Windchill Part the BOM will be correct. However Creo View on Structure page will Always be wrong as the viewable for those pieces will always be viewable of the Owner Link CAD.. if that is a simple flat that is what the Structure Page will build into the Viewable. (Users can look at CAD Structure Page to see what it really looks like mechanically but will not be complete WtPart BOM)

B. I suggested multiple WtParts... CompNumber_Bent1, LCDNumber_Bent2, _Bent3, etc... Therefore Creo View would come up correctly. But then Exported BOMs need to be corrected in excel by macro or by program before loaded into ERP
C. Change Creo Technique to Flexible if possible.

This comes up with every WtPart Customer. How have others resolved?

Note: Details Page will also be correct as it uses the As-Stored Assembly Viewable.  Issue is related to Structure Viewable and of course carries down into MPMLink/Process Plans.

Latest customer has a Flat piece of Metal that is bent into 30 different positions, they model exactly what it will look like in reality.  The BOM is to supply the Flat Part and Manufacturing will twist/bend/etc. when they are assembling.
Other simple example to test. (yes this example could be Flexible but point is to show behavior for more complex examples)
A. A Spring Compressed 50% (Owner Link) and Uncompressed (Image Link), Compressed (85%) to One WtPart Spring.  CAD BOM Structure Viewable will be fine.  WtPart Structure Visualization Tab would show Compressed 50% wherever Spring is used as it live Builds the Viewable on the Structure Page.
B. Creo Model (Owner) and SolidWorks (Image) to a Windchill part.  The Viewable of the Creo Model will always be presented even to a WtPart BOM of SolidWorks Models causing Viewable to not locate Properly.

Further Comment:

All Creo Funcitonality Should be Supported to Show Creo View Properly.

B. The Values of Flexible Modeling

C. Part Simplified Rep

Bu Looking to Parent WtPart's Related CAD Assembly - then the what version/or how the CAD Model was Bent/Modified... Each should be capture as a Viewable of the Object.  Not just the CAD Part by itself Viewable.  Each of the Viewable for the Component should be kept with the CAD Model or WTPART of each condition of its use.

1. Normal Use

2. Any Use in an Assembly made it Flexible or used a Part Simp Rep to manipulate it.
