Want "Viewables" tab in the "Primary Panel" to display by default when Creo View is opened.

Want "Viewables" tab in the "Primary Panel" to display by default when Creo View is opened.

We need to set the "Viewables" tab in the "Primary Panel" to display by default when Creo View is opened.

Customer explored the preference settings available and have not found anything that allows this to happen. Any chance this can be added to the development road map for the application.

When Creo View is opened on its own (no data), the Viewables tab is the default. When Creo View is opened from Windchill by clicking on a thumbnail, the Model tab is the default tab when a model thumbnail is selected and in our case, the PDF file tab is active when a drawing thumbnail is selected. I'm assuming you always want the Viewables tab to be selected and active after the application is opened, regardless of the data opened?

I tried AutoLoad, which loads all the viewables, but it does not make the Viewables tab active when complete.

Maybe you can create a custom command like "v" to activate the Viewables tab?

If the user would like to not automatically load the default viewable and instead have a choice of which vieawble to open they can choose to turn off autoloading.  This works in the context of Windchill as well and the setting is below:
