During CAD checkin, if a "Auto Associate" is selected for part creation from Workspace, currently there is no check implemented to validate if mandatory attributes of WTPart is filled or not.

 

Business case :

 

In our system/process, classification of part is mandatory and if WTPart is created first, it is always classified. But if CAD is created first and "Auto Associate" feature is used to generate WTPart, mandatory check for classification is missing and creates issues at later stages of approval especially during part approval via change.
