Publish an Option set through Actions - Send to Distribution Target:
What an Option set contains:
Attributes of the Option Set itself: Option Set Name, Description, Version, Allow Assignment of Exclude Choices, Allow Assignment of Expressions to Non-Configurable Items, Allow Date Effectivity for Choices, Reference Option Pool Rules Automatically, Manage Local Rule Changes Independently from the Option Set, Context, Created by, Created On, Modified by, Last Modified, etc.,
Certain specific Options (within Groups and outside Groups) (Not all the options from the Option Pool)
Selected Choices (Not all choices from the Option Pool)
Effectivity details related to Choices
Global Conditional Rules
Local Conditional Rules
Global Include Rules
Local Include Rules
Global Exclude Rules
Local Exclude Rules
Global Enable Rules
Local Enable Rules
Effectivity details related to Rules
And other information which I had not listed above.
When publishing an Option Set through Actions - Send to Distribution Target, below information are published:
Some attribtues of the Option Set (Name, Description, State, Version, UseExplicitConditionMembership, SupportSpecificationEffectivity, SupportExclusionSpecification)
Option Group information
Options - only those included in the Option Set and not the other options from the Option Pool - which is quite ok
ALL THE CHOICES for each option. This is not expected - the published file should contain ONLY those choices that are included in the Option set.
Effectivity information on Choices (when above condition is met, then the export should have this information ONLY related to those choices included in the Option set)
Apart from the above information, the published export file does not contain any other information like Global Rules and Effectivity information of rules.
Proposal through this idea is:
When publishing an Option Set through ESI (Send to Distribution Target), then ALL and ONLY information related to the Option Set are published.
