Our customers ask for a compare function of MPMLink objects.
For ProcessPlans and Operations this function is not part of a WindchillMPMLink.
I would like to add an Idea to implement same function for ProcessPlans and Operations as exists for wt.part structure.
The function could be very useful for cooperation work if one user does some changes on operations then others should be able to see the diference
between released Opeartions or ProcessPlan and current inwork objects.
Very good idea
Very good idea ! It will help to building the BoI (Bill of information)
is that a duplication
Ability to compare two MPM Process Plan structures
Yes the link is duplication of this idea..
Sorry ... missed it even if I voted for it ....
no problem, can the vote be merged ?
I think this is a really important future and hope PTC is looking at what ERP system deliver in MPM and get more inspiration to finally provide MPMLink that surpasses ERP capabilities
yes of course. you can merge
just hope that MPM team will have budget for this kind of mandatory new features ...
where it seems to be difficult to have budget "just to move" from applet to HTML UI with iso functionalities ....
are you going to the liveworkx in November at Stuttgart ?
We could ask them the question about their R&D Budget
not planned for me ... we've got a project milsetone the same week ...
feel free to ask
I've tagged the idea for Technical Comitee review.
last year , we've done some sprint reviews with the MPM product management team. But more focused on eBOM/mBOM comparator.
I'll try to do the same for Process Plan now.
shame you won t be able to make. Good luck with your milestone.
Is there a possibility to join your discussion with PTC about process plan or is it just between your company and PTC ?
Today it's only between our company and PTC
I know that they do this kind of meetings with other customers
Anyway I can ask to PTC if possible
