There should be a way to view cut sets easily both in WQS and when creating reports. The first problem is that in complex trees with multiple transfer gates, when you highlight cut sets and go into the transfer it cancels out of the highlight cut sets so you can't even view them. on top of that the SAE type trees don't list the events of the cut sets and probability, only the order when the task list opens up making this pretty useless. The properties/ Cut Sets on a gate is more useful since you can output to excel but then you have to go look for the events in the tree to visually see it. However you only have the option of showing in per flight and not per flight hour and it would be nice to add this in.
Apart from fixing the "highlight cut sets" functionality it would be optimal to have a report that will output the cut set list for the specified number of minimal cut sets (say top 10 or something) and for each case show the FTA diagram with the highlighted cut set path in the diagram for a reader to easily understand.
