In the FMEA worksheet the relation between the data levels are clearly visible, as failure mode might grow to a very long field, splitting in to several causes, with them splitting into several effects.
If you create a report from that, the clearly visible relstionship is pretty much lost, as it creates a new line for every lowest level data field, if combined with the suppress duplicate option it might result in big empty spaces in the lowest data level column on the printed report.
My idea is to print several lower level data fields alongside to one long (multi line) higher level data field.
So that it might look like this:
one veeery effect1
loooong effect2
cause, wich effect3
covers effect4
several lines
And not as its printed now:
one veeery effect1
loooong
cause, wich
covers
several lines
effect2
effect3
effect4
So hopefully you got my idea and vote for it.
