Hello

 

CS124944 highlights that PTC does not support encrypting the LDAP Administrator Password or Active Directory Service Account Passwords visible in the Apache Auth Provider Files.

 

Would want people to Vote Up Idea. 

As.. Access to Server by a Technician gives them access to LDAP Admin Password which allows them to login and reset WIndchillDS Passwords, which allows access to Company Restricted or ITAR restricted Data.

 

PTC should provide the mechanism and not leave Windchill vulnerable if machine hosting Apache is breached.
