Windchill Workgroup Manager should recognise all the extensions of Solidworks files as CAD documents

CurrentlyWGM only recognises Sldprt,slddrw ,sldasm,asmdot,drwdot,prtdot,sldflp as CAD Documents and can be imported to Workspace  .However WGM also should recognise slddrt,asmprp,.sldbomtbt,sldmat,prtprp,sldrevtbt  as  CAD documents and should be available to download from Workspace .

This idea could be extended to a true real & in depth integration for all major other CAD softwares. In other words the integration should be as good with any CAD software than what it is with Creo.

I fully concur with the statements above. As my company attempts to consolidate all other CAD tools under the Windchill umbrella, Windchill should be able to manage the file types necessary for other CAD platforms to perform properly (as Creo-to-Windchill performs). Hard to believe this discussion started in 2015; it's 2019, and this is still an issue?
