Have the ability within all of PLM to right click on any hyperlink within the system and that will prompt the user to have the choice to either open a new window or open a new tab. Please note attachment for reference.
Jennifer Liesner, I don't see the attachment. Also, don't forget to vote on your own idea.
I have Internet Explorer 9 and a 3 button mouse. If I hover over any hyperlink in WC10.1 and use the middle mouse button, the page opens in a new tab. There are settings in IE that can be toggled to open the page in a new tab or a new window. Does this method provide a solution?
Same behavior with Firefox and Chrome
For most of the hyperlinks if you select CTRL and then Right-Mouse-Click you will access to launch into a new Tab or new Window, etc.
Middle mouse button with Ctrl will open in another window in IE.
It may depend on your browser settings, but you don't even need the control with the middle mouse button. Just middle click and it opens in a new tab.
