While having a lot components in workspace it has a huge effect on time to launch SOLIDWORKS. When SOLIDWORKS is lauched with Workgroup Manager activated, it is not possible to do anything until the files in workspace are ready to use. For about 5000 components we are having in a project it takes always about two minutes to start SOLIDWORKS. With an empty workspace a start is quite fast.
This should be done so that an user can already start using plain SOLIDWORKS (e.g. start designing a new part) and let workspace to be refreshed in backgroup. If workspace is needed to be seen immediately a message would be show that a workspace is not yet ready for use. The current functionality gives an impression for a user of a slow performing system.
