This is regarding an enhancement for the issue that “an NX assembly feature cannot be displayed in Visualization Tab” in MPMLink.
Our company implemented MPMLink for the following two major purposes:
To be able to perform process planning/design (associate with an operation) while looking at an actual geometry and identifying a part.
Process planning(associating with operation) by identifying a part in real geometry.
To be able to use in business operations a work instruction document that will be generated based on such information as the geometry or control properties of a part that is associated with a process.
Use Work Instruction Doc created based on part geometry or control property which are associated with process.
In our (NX) CAN modeling, we change the shape of a part by using an assembly feature. (Example: Make a straight belt (part) into a bent shape in an assembly) .
Creo View shows the assembly feature (bent feature), but Visualization Tab shows the part model (straight shape).
The major purposes of the implementation were mentioned above, but it is difficult to perform process planning/design by using a correct geometry.
