as for now, you can only configure the workers to be file synchronised or not based on the authoring application. for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, this is very annoying, since 2D and 3D have the same authoring application.
what you want is to split the 2D and 3D to a different worker, where the 2D (Drawing) is a file synchronized worker so the titleblock is updated properly, and send the 3D to a non file synchronized worker, for performance reasons.
This would enlarge the stablity and the performance of both workers very much.
