format icon column missing in collector (save-as, revise...)

For example in the Related Objects tab of an article in the "described by" table or in the search result table a column with the format icon of the primary content format is shown (e.g. pdf, dxf, xls...).

Often an article has a lot of linked documents with the same document subtype but with different primary contents. In the collector tables you can not distinguish the documents because they have all the same subtype symbol. The format icon from the primary content is missing.

Please add a column to the collector tables which shows the format icons of documents.

In addition to the icon, it would be good if you could control collector behaviour so that the format is not included at all, or so that it is always set to re-use.

If with product idea https://community.ptc.com/t5/Windchill-Ideas/It-Should-be-possible-to-Customize-the-Table-View-in-the-Collect/idc-p/710685 the format icon is also selectable as a column with the new "customize" function for the collector table views in WC 12.0.1, then this ticket can be closed as a "duplicate".

There is a technical problem with the Format Icon, since it usually is rendered with a URL to download the document.

Are you actually trying to view the document from the collector?   Or are you just hoping to see the icon that tells you it is an excel file, etc?

@JenniferPierron only seeing the icon to know if it is an Excel file or PDF file, etc. would be enough from my point of view.
